Students may take advantage of various options to help pay for their education here at Utah State University - Moab. Grants, scholarships, student employment, and student loans are available for undergraduate and graduate students.

Federal Pell Grant - Available to undergraduate students only. Grants do not have to be repaid.
*Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) - Available for undergraduates only. This grant is jointly funded by the federal government and the school and/or state.
*Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (LEAP) Grants (for Utah residents). See Financial Aid advisor for more information.
*Utah Centennial Opportunity Program for Education (UCOPE) Grants (for Utah resident). Funds are limited so apply early. See Financial Aid advisor for more information.
Student Employment:
*Federal Work-Study Program - provides jobs to undergraduate and graduate students who are full-time students. Students must be awarded funds for work-study via their Federal Financial Aid application.
Loans:
Federal Stafford Loans (subsidized and unsubsidized) - student loans must be repaid and are available to both undergraduate and graduate students. See: Lending Counseling at www.usu.edu/finaid. Click on "Entrance Counseling."
*Federal Perkins Loans (subsidized) - low interest loans that must be repaid. Depending on your career field a Perkins Loan may be waived if you complete the degree.
