Welcome to USU Moab
There is a bumper sticker seen on numerous cars that says, London, Paris, Tokyo, Moab? Moab is a destination location, locally, nationally, and internationally, as a must see, and should be on your bucket list. I am optimistic that higher education at Utah State University Moab, will draw a similar response in the not too distant future. USU Moab is becoming a world class education center in one of the most beautiful and diverse outdoor recreation locations in the world.
Utah State University - Moab, is located within minutes of two national parks, a state park, with thousands of acres of land to hike, bike, 4-wheel, raft, camp, hunt or view. If you are into the out-of-doors, then Moab is the destination you should consider to start, continue, or complete a college degree.
In September of 2011 a generous pledge by the Walker Family will give Utah State University the mechanism to build Phase I of a new campus in our community. Conceptual designs of our campus can be viewed in a pdf file by clicking the following Link. Future Moab Campus
Our goal is to have a student body of 300-500 students. Through regional distance education, combined with face-to-face programs, we are able to offer associate, bachelor, master, and even a doctoral degree all from Moab UT. Degree Programs
Besides specific degrees in Social Work and Recreation Resource Management other specific relevant degrees are being planned for our new campus.
